Tricyrtis ‘Empress’ is a striking, shade‑loving hardy perennial producing exotic, orchid‑like flowers in late summer and autumn. The blooms are creamy white to pale blush, heavily marked with deep rose‑pink to purple speckles, giving a dramatic, intricate appearance. Flowers are larger and more boldly patterned than many other Tricyrtis types. Plants form upright clumps of arching stems with lush, green foliage, bringing a refined woodland feel to shaded borders.
