Colocasia (Elephant Ear) is a dramatic, tropical‑looking foliage plant grown for its huge, heart‑shaped leaves and bold architectural presence with striking veining or glossy surfaces. Plants form upright or slightly arching clumps that bring instant impact to borders, jungle‑style planting, pondsides, and large containers. In warm summers, Colocasia may also produce unusual pale flowers, though it’s the foliage that steals the show.
