Phygelius are semi‑evergreen South African perennials grown for their long clusters of tubular flowers in rich shades. They form upright, bushy clumps with fresh green foliage and flower for months, bringing strong vertical interest and continuous colour to summer borders. Modern cultivars are tidier, more compact, and exceptionally floriferous.
