Ceratostigma ‘Autumn Blue’ is a compact, late‑season perennial/sub‑shrub prized for its intense blue flowers and fiery autumn foliage. From late summer onwards, plants produce vivid gentian‑blue blooms that sit above foliage turning rich red, bronze, and copper as temperatures cool. It forms a neat, spreading mound that thrives in sunny, free‑draining positions, making it ideal for borders, slopes, gravel gardens, and hot, dry spots where other plants struggle. A superb choice for adding colour when most of the garden is fading.
